Comment by Beach Bum on July 18, 2012 at 8:12pm I would like to get a tech, the closest one is 4 hours away and i cant afford that call right now. I am waiting on my buddy to get available, he has a bunch of exp with this and thinks he can get me. I was hopping to get it up NOW~~ LOL thanks for all your info. Have a great night
Comment by Lucas Crossley on July 18, 2012 at 12:55pm I would go back to the flushing adjustment to make sure that's not the problem. Once that's done you can try other things but it is critical.
So you have a service manual or know the service code? You might be better off to get a tech in there.
Comment by Beach Bum on July 18, 2012 at 11:25am OK, i am pulling from the cap lines where i conect them to the pump. (so pulling before the pump) the pump and lines seem clear because when i put cleaning solution on the caps it makes it way to the over fill bottle. I have plugged the lines before the pump so i can fill the caps with cleaning solution and park the heads and cap them for soaking. My buddy had a medical emergency that eventually prompeted him to stop using the printer. It has always been kept in his studio. i have yet to find any dried ink in the lines. I can pull ink through the lines to the dampers with a surringe. The dampers are not leaking and have fliuid in them.
Comment by Lucas Crossley on July 18, 2012 at 11:17am try pulling from the bottom of the cap top before the pump. How was it stored? If there was ink in the pump for two years its toast.
