I would like to get a tech, the closest one is 4 hours away and i cant afford that call right now.  I am waiting on my buddy to get available, he has a bunch of exp with this and thinks he can get me.  I was hopping to get it up NOW~~ LOL  thanks for all your info.  Have a great night

I would go back to the flushing adjustment to make sure that's not the problem.  Once that's done you can try other things but it is critical.

So you have a service manual or know the service code?  You might be better off to get a tech in there.

OK, i am pulling from the cap lines where i conect them to the pump. (so pulling before the pump)  the pump and lines seem clear because when i put cleaning solution on the caps it makes it way to the over fill bottle. I have plugged the lines before the pump so i can fill the caps with cleaning solution and park the heads and cap them for soaking.  My buddy had a medical emergency that eventually prompeted him to stop using the printer.  It has always been kept in his studio.  i have yet to find any dried ink in the lines.  I can pull ink through the lines to the dampers with a surringe.  The dampers are not leaking and have fliuid in them.

try pulling from the bottom of the cap top before the pump.  How was it stored?  If there was ink in the pump for two years its toast.

I am new to the versacamm game. I am bringing life to a very low hr printer i bought from a buddy. It has been sitting for 2 years. I replaced the caps, wipers. I can pull ink throught the lines above the dampers. I the dampers themself are also clean and flow. I can manually cap the heads, then use a surringe to pull down. There is plenty of suction but nothing will pull through. I have soaked the heads for a long while by filling caps then parking the heads on the caps. I have not done any adjustments. any help would be great! Thanks!!

the reason I ask is that it sounds like you may have replaced the cap tops...the flushing adjustment sets the correct height of the cap tops so that they will connect to the heads and be able to create suction when the pump runs. Most people do not know about this. I've even seen techs that forget to do this and it will render new cap tops useless. If you have liquid ink above the dampers, good caps, good dampers, good heads and a functioning pump it should work provided that the pump can create suction.
