Thanks for the Welcome! I have found a few articles on here to be very useful. Now I have a discussion up that will hopefully help me fix the latest issue I've been having with my SP300. Thanks Again!

If its a quick answer it's not a problem. I'm more interested in rumors that people want the straight answer to. I think too many forums have people saying "I heard this, and I have a source at Roland..."

I am the source. You got a great thing going here and I like to see people's enthusiasm about the VersaCAMM!

Just started printing and cutting the tiger decals out again and the cutter stopped cutting while cutting out the text on the fith decal. This is disapointing shouldn't be happening. The paper rolls free through the printer. This happens on other art as well.

Steve,

Any time.
Changing the blade did seem to make a difference for cutting the 4mil calendar vinyl but I still have failures to cut after doing 5 to 10 contour cuts on a tiger that is about 1.5' by 1.5' along with 3" text.

Steve,
I see where you help lot's of people with the VP540I and other print cutters. I am having an issue with the 540I completing the contour cut on a file it just completed a cut. I doesn't always stop at the same place when it doesn't complete the cut. When it stops, the cutter will just stay parked where it stopped and the message on the screen is "now processing". I have called and worked with Roland (by phone only) but they have not figured out what is going on.
This has been going from when the machine was new.

Hi Steve,
I missed this. Yes, I did. There was a great video that I watched. I wasn't cleaning all that I could. Once I did what they said everything worked great. That was a huge relief!

Hi Steven,

Apologies for the delay in responding. And yes, that is me -- that's how I get my adrenaline fix. The horse's name is Carmel Chex.

Thanks!

Steven,

I think I have the pressure perfect pads - it is similar to a mouse pad??? I still get the iron marks when using this.

Hi Steven,

I have a question for you. I do not have a teflon pillow, and am willing to purchase if it will help with this problem... I am applying 3M Reflective Vinyl to 100% microfiber (polyester blend) fabric that has a "waffle weave" and I get a definite mark from the heat press - Hotronix / 340 degree F / 20 seconds / pressure setting 7.

What do you suggest?

Thank you,
JD

OMG I don't know where to begin. I met you at a show I fell in love with the machine, I got one, I'm scared to death to use it and so excited there is actually a community to look up to and posts to read. I have made a few shirts and stickers so I am not completely clueless, but I can only daydream about all the other possibilities there are. Thank you for welcoming me, I am new to all of this and kinda feel like a freshman at a really big university.

You'd be so proud, we added a "By" line to the tennis banner this morning. The first attempt was upside down,so we paused/canceled the job. Fortunately had left enough room between the logo and mistake that we were able to turn the text and print it. Backed up the corrected line and sheet cut off the mistake.

Steven, Love the Celtic IAF design. Is that a stock design? I'd love to be able to put the green part a circle (rather than the maltese) and put a "shooting clay" in the center for a gun club we do work for. Vicki Dunning ~ Embroidery Designs

Thanks for the welcome Steven. I have only had my VP540i for 9 months so my learning curve is significant. I am sure the My Versacamm with all it's information will be of great assistance.
Happy Easter.

Thank you, Steven. I was wondering if you had any advice for me on my SP 300. It ran out of magenta yesterday, and I can't get the color red to come back. Is there a proceedure to follow to re-prime the magenta, or any line that runs dry? As usual I have a tomorrow deadline on some printing!! Thanks again!

Thanks Steven. It's an honour to be a member. It was also an honour to have finally meet you at the ISS Long Beach show. I was caught by surprise when you introduced yourself as Scuba_Steve :-). I'm looking to purchase a VersaCAMM VP 300-i soon so yes, you will definitely be bombarded by my questions very soon. By the way, this is a great forum and I applaud you for this.
