How to get the best economical usage of Ink Drain Bottles which are full for re-use

It's stressing enough to cram into my brain the really cool features my SP-300i has and the abilities of this wonderful machinery. However... it always was a minefield when it came to brainstorming on how to get the best economical usage of my inks, yet being able to produce and maintain fine quality prints. Ink Drain bottle re-use was always in my mind to keep the costs down on this magnificent printer by Roland.

But I am also after some more technical advice on how to keep costs low on this printer.

Also, if you post in the forum section this will get more views. A lot of people will not see blog posts.

I am a little confused also. Are you using a bulk system?

Are you talking about the waste ink bottle? Or are you running a 3rd party bulk ink system?

I'm not sure that I understand your question, Daniel

But have you ever really calculated your ink cost?

Our ink cost/consumption with our VC's isn't even in the same universe as compared to ink useage on a regular desktop printer.
