OK, I was excited for the new Corel X5 but I'm ready to toss it.  I found and tried the CutContour in the Roland Spot library for my cut line and I have exported the design(s) without the hairline selected but when I get to Versaworks - no cut line appears.  Any idea what to try next?

Daniel:

My problem was the convert to spot colors was checked and Native color was checked with stopped the cutline from working.  Once those were unchecked everything has been great and X5 is doing what it needs to.  The CutContour does work in X5 at least for mine.

try putting all in uppercase "CUTLINE". CYMK settings are C:0Y:85M:0K:0 and add to palatte

I had a similar issue with one of our clients. Varying versions of Corel may need different wording. CutContour only works in CorelDraw X4. Check out your local service provider.

Butch:

That was it.  Settings were also to Native color and I had to change that.  Too many variable to watch for I guess.

Thanks, Cindy

Try applying a hairline with the CutContour color. Make sure convert spot colors to process is not selected in the Corel eps export selection. Export.
