calculating ink cost for banner printing?
Anyone have a formula for calculating the cost of the ink that I am using to print my banner. Versaworks tell me the amount used but is there a formula to calculate the cost?

it is about $0.32 per ml. A ml is a cc. Use the formula mike has below and you should get the right results

Cost of the ink cartdrige divided by the amount of ink in a new cartridge, then multiply that answer by however many CCs VersaWorks says it's using for that particular job. Make sure you RIP before you calculate it too, the number it shows pre-RIP is just an estimate.
