I have an sp540i with Roland eco sol max inks.

I am using a 510grm coated frontlit banner media on which Im struggling to achieve a good print. Its coming out shadowy or uneven when I use generic banner 1 or 2 profiles, especially on large areas of one colour.

Any profile suggestions for improved result? Does a 510g media require a higher print head position?

Hoping someone can help on this one. I just printed a104" piece of glossy wrap and the print has faded stripes.


In our ongoing saga our next question is:

We were finally about to cut but there is a white edge of the media on PARTS of the letters but not around all of the letters.  I set the contour the same around everything.  Can anyone help me understand why the media would show around only some of the letter?  Is the offset of the blade a problem?  It was set at 250 but I see the range is from .01 and up.

As we move along in learning our versacamm our new problem is the media keeps getting crunched as the heads go back and forth printing.  We are using imprintables spectra t shirt media that we heat press on shirts.  We have an old CJ500 that has been converted to a SC500. 

Everything goes fine for a time but then the one edge of the paper gets crunched.  It is firmly on the rollers when printing begins.  Is there an adjustment of the head we need to make?

Simplified my home network by removing an old hub and router and using the internet modem to route both wireless and wired.  Went to print to the Versacamm today but the printer won't connect.  Have restarted everything, disconnected and reconnected, verified network(s) and tried to reinstall to no avail.  Any ideas.  I've got work to get out.

We are very, very new to the cutting of a corel design with my roland.  I have letters that consist of a block letter with an 8 pt black outline as the back layer with a block letter and a 4 pt white outline as the top layer, making the shadow effect.

I convert curves and add my countour cut line, but it keeps appearing INSIDE the black outline and cuts the black out.

I've tried boundary and countouring every way I can figure.  Obviously there is a setting/trick I don't know…

WE have a vp 540 and out of no where the control panel lost power. Any ideas out there?

 I know everyone has a difference of opinion on  using the versacamm or just apply vinyl to the magnetic material.  I tried  vinyl over the magnet material and it comes out terrible .  please help with some settings to run the material on the machine and maybe some suggestions on how to get the vinyl over the magentic material to look great.  ctx 4560 material

Hey guys I been really sick and im just now getting back to work. I have 2 choices either sell all my equipment or try and relearn all that was taken away due to health. So please be easy on me. I been in the sign business for around 35yrs and printing for only 3 yrs and forgot how to use my printer so its like im a new to all of this. what im looking for is 1- the repair manual for a sp540v and 2- a versaworks manual if any one can help that would be great.

I am currently using Quick Print but customers don't like the heavy feel. Is there another product with great washalility and easy to work with? This is for garment printing.

Hi to all.  Just acquired a used sp-300 and am anxious to get going.  I have tried to transfer a couple of files from Corel into VersaWorks but have not been successful.  From Corel I tried Exporting one file as EPS, another as JPEG and one as TIF.  I then send it to desktop and from there I drag it into VW.  It quickly gives me the message "Stopped processing the input file C:\Users\trooper Desktop\eagle flag-shortcut.lnk  "Unsupported Format"

I'm sure many of you have heard about the school shooting in Chardon, OH.  One of the victims killed was the grandson of my high school wrestling coach at Beachwood (both Chardon and Beachwood are suburbs of Cleveland).  To honor our coach's family, our store cad-printed a special ribbon printed and it on the singlets being worn this weekend at the Ohio High School State Tournament.  Right now, Beachwood wrestling is doing great with one guy wrestling in the finals and two other teammates…

I am trying to power clip a photo into an outline for a wall graphic.  It goes in but it's like the picture has dropped down the picture is not in the outline where I have the outline. Any help would be very welcome.

Just got back from class with Steven Jackson and it was AWESOME!!!  What a great instructor.  He never lost patience with our endless questions and made sure we understood what he was talking about before moving on to anything else. Can't wait to take the advanced class too.  Met some really nice people also.

We do a ton of poly shirts, jerseys and shorts.  I can't stand when the cheap polyester snags, espcially before it goes out the door.  I now keep my eyes open for snag resistant items to print on.  I have found that Under Armour, San Mar and A4 are leading the way with poly sportshirts and polos that don't snag.

Hi I am New in My Versacamm .

I have a broken nipple on the left head manifold and I don't know the process to replace this piece .Do I have to go trough some specific process ? or service mode ? Any help will be greatly appreciated
