Re-using Overlaminate Backing

We just finished a roll of over laminate and I thought I read or heard that you can re-use the white backing paper in place of kraft paper. Is this true and has anyone done this?

The same process that Steven just described works great on some old plastisol transfers too If you hold them too long and the release paper gets compromised from heat or humidity or just plain old age.....just give the shirt a tug, and POP......off…

Vicki - let it cool, then stretch the shirt. The paper will pop right off as it will not stretch and the solutions clear will. Easy as pie :-)

That's what my heat press says when the timer runs out. I think I'll be hearing "beep, beep, beep" in my sleep tonight, but the jerseys and shorts are finished and came out GREAT!

Cut, cut, cut ~ Eco film

Spent the day cutting eco film to put on 24 jerseys and shirts. The backs of the jerseys get a name and 7" number. The fronts get a left chest logo and a center chest 4" number. Then the shorts get a smaller number. Need to learn how to nest jobs using the Ioline software...

Expect tomorrow's post to be titled "print, print, print" So glad I don't have to mask this stuff!

Learning Experience

Well, this afternoon was a learning experience. Our first time masking by ourselves. We did ok! We learned the life of TTD mask is not as long as I would have thought. But we also learned that you can do a lot with tweezers and a squeege ;-) We only lost one transfer to TTD past its prime. On a whole a good afternoon.
