The only thing I have seen reliably fix it is the stop static kit. - it is an ionized cord that removes the charge as it goes across into the printer.

Some media, during the manufacturing process, can pick up a static charge that is compounded when you try to unroll and cut it. This particular roll has that. I have seen it more often in white but it can occur on any cut media.

Yes, that's what it is doing, like I said just this roll. Frustrating, because I have things that have to get done. Still not understanding why it only does it on this roll and not others.
