"Tim, you don't even need to open PP if you don't want. Many PP options are available right in Draw..............vignette is one of them   Bitmaps/Creative/Vignette hth   Lady Di"

"Seems like every time I get frustrated with something enough to ask for help, I end up figuring it out anyway.  Figured out how to do it in Corel Photo paint,  if I had only known it was called a "vignette"...."

Turning a picture in to an oval shape with a soft edge.

I have been manipulating graphics for a few years but I am a total newb when it comes to manipulating pictures. With graduation banner season upon us I am being asked for this effect on pictures, I am think it should be easy, but I am having no luck with corel x5.   I can make the pic oval but cannot put a soft edge around it.  I even tried asking my 16 year old daughter who is always editing photos, she suggested using word!  Is their a quick way to get this done??See More

"I did a manual cleaning and it improved quite a bit, I still get better results using the Generic Vinyl profile on high quality than I do with the Quickprint profile. Would it be worth it to run it through the powerful cleaning cycle?"
