sp300 head not printing

I also have an sp300 that the blue and black head isn't printing. We have put in new cap tops and dampers and when you pull the ink through the tubes on the bottom it comes out fine so I know it isn't plugged. I bought a new head but how do I know it is the head and not a fuse

I just put in a new magenta print head and now the alignment is of slightly.
How do I make fine tune adjustments?
