After finally getting my heads firing properly afer replacing my pump, I had what seemed to be a minor head strike. However I have some major deflection and dropouts now. Is there any chance of recovering this, or is a new head in my future?See More

Vs540i - Printer. Started day off with a test print, all was good. Printed on adhesive vinyl for about 2 hours straight, all printed well. Switched to 18oz banner material. (approx. 5 minutes between switching materials) Raised print head to high. Did test print and only a handful of nozzles printed. Did a 2x powerful clean and 3/4 started firing again. Unable to get rest to fire. Pics attached. New captop and dampers within last 3 weeks. Never had this happen before. What could be causing…See More
"No worries - The 3rd party ORings are usually the issue with installation - you did not have that issue. I do not think the OEM dampers will help you here. Put a piece of tape or something to remember to do at least one normal clean before printing.…"
"The dampers are 3rd party. The issued started with the OEM dampers, and I replaced with the 3rd party. I will order in some Roland dampers as that is the only thing I haven't done yet. I have cleaned the encoder with alcohol…"
"Grey O-Rings are 3rd party and usually do not sit well. Your nozzle test shows you have no issues there. I would use alcohol to clean the encoder strip for the cross over - a normal cleaning should clear it also for temporary use."
