VP540i sensing crop marks that are not there.

I have had a Versacamm VP540i for a long time and have had many interesting things that I've had to deal with but never this.I have a file that was ripped through VersaWorks and is about 50"W. It has crop marks in the normal four corners of the print. I set it up to print, laminate then cut like I have 1000's of times before, but today it is sensing cropmarks that are not there, about 6" into the media. "You misaligned the cables and now getting noise interference from the crosstalk! You need to put the cables back the way they originally were"

Black Bands after replacing print head

I have recently replaced the black print head on my VP 540i. I am trying to make sure my alignment is all set up but my test prints keep coming out with horrible horizontal lines over what looks like very good prints. The reason I started is the head deflection on the black print head was really quite bad after years of use (and I admit, some head strikes).
