Smallest material in width to run on a VP-300.

Hi everyone, I have some material that is only 6" wide and I was going to try and use it up. But I wasn't sure that you should take off that little stopper that is on the slide bar. There isn't enough to line up and not get an error message for the clamp. Trying to use up scrap.
