"The cut issue is probably like Irving said. One way to check the cable is to layout 4" circles across the width of your media. If the circles are not cut perfect all the way across adjust the cable. Is the media running true in the cut phase ?…"

"My suggestion is to buy a new printer. With that said, you talked to cleaning the encoder strip - not my first instinct. On your machine a v model - it runs left to right on a cable. Did the techs check the cable tension? If the cuts are off left to…"

Many of our cuts are 12' long sections of striping that must be cut very precisely!I have a 2006 model sp540V. For the longest time, it would print and more importantly cut PERFECTLY, even with a 12' print. For at least the last year the cuts get off…See More

I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on:( mrsstellakwale588@gmail.com) ) for the full details.

With that said, you talked to cleaning the encoder strip - not my first instinct. On your machine a v model - it runs left to right on a cable. Did the techs check the cable tension? If the cuts are off left to right the tension and then the hours on the scan motor. If the cuts are off up to down, then you have to check the feed motor. Your machine should be approaching an age issue with its motors. My thoughts.
