"Thanks everyone, I have been out of town for work and just getting back and caught up from engraving work to tackle this again. We have tried the Print Cut Adjustment and all is fine there, just as it should be.  I will try cleaning the encoder…"

"An encoder strip will cause vertical lines running through ur print off to one side. To clean if necessary use alcohol. Do not use cleaning solution on that particular part as it will erase the encoding from the strip - not good at all. Encoding…"

Material Feed Is Off

Hi all,We seem to be having an issue with the material feeding through our SP540 v.  IN a 18" print we can be off as much as 1/4" left or right when cutting.  I can actually watch the print being done and see the material move as it is fed through.I have checked the pinch rollers, they are installed correctly and not cracked.  Our dealer tech said something about a rail adjustment.  Has anyone ever heard about anything like this or what to do to fix it?Thanks,JimSee More

"Thanks Kathy, I sent a message to Imprintables to make sure there is no PVC in the material.  That is what, many laser owners, say is bad for the machines. Love the Austin Powers reference too."

"How did you cut the twil, with a plotter or laser?  I have a laser and this would be awesome to try on that, I would be concerned with the PVC in the material affecting the laser optics though."
