image displaying and printing incorrectly in Versaworks

Hi allI have prepared a design in corel draw and corel paint. I added a frame to a photo in the design which has a nice hazy border on it.When I save and export the file to either eps or pdf, the design looks great. But when I import either file into Versaworks, it displays strangely. The photo with the hazy border, still has the rectangle shape around the image in plain white. When i Print the problem persists (sp 540i)Again when i look at this very same file in corel or in pdf reader it looks…See More

banner profiles

HiI have an sp540i with Roland eco sol max inks.I am using a 510grm coated frontlit banner media on which Im struggling to achieve a good print. Its coming out shadowy or uneven when I use generic banner 1 or 2 profiles, especially on large areas of one colour.Any profile suggestions for improved result? Does a 510g media require a higher print head position?thanks in advance.DeclanSee More

Hi allIm kinda new to the Versacamm world and I have run into two small problems. My Sp540i is only 3 months old. I havent exactly been over working the machine however Ive been careful to keep it cleaned regularly. However, I ran into 2 problems printing today.Firstly the heat transfer media i was printing on was sticking in the printer as it was feeding through on a printing job. I found myself having to gently pull it as it was printing. Ive used this media before without a problem.Secondly,…See More

Hi

I have an sp540i with Roland eco sol max inks.

I am using a 510grm coated frontlit banner media on which Im struggling to achieve a good print. Its coming out shadowy or uneven when I use generic banner 1 or 2 profiles, especially on large areas of one colour.

Any profile suggestions for improved result? Does a 510g media require a higher print head position?

thanks in advance.
