"Place the loose piece on the masking after you mask. -  Mask - remove  the decal from the backing - place the loose pieces on the masking - lay entire decal with masking back on backing."

HELP! cannot connect to Versacamm

Simplified my home network by removing an old hub and router and using the internet modem to route both wireless and wired.  Went to print to the Versacamm today but the printer won't connect.  Have restarted everything, disconnected and reconnected, verified network(s) and tried to reinstall to no avail.  Any ideas.  I've got work to get out.CindySee More

CutContour in Corel X5 not working

Posted on June 1, 2011 at 12:57am 5 Comments

OK, I was excited for the new Corel X5 but I'm ready to toss it.  I found and tried the CutContour in the Roland Spot library for my cut line and I have exported the design(s) without the hairline selected but when I get to Versaworks - no cut line appears.  Any idea what to try next?

The way I would test it would be with a syringe with a plastic tip (Michaels arts and Crafts). Turn off the unit move the heads out of the way then follow the magenta tube down to where it connects to the y connector( use pdf for ref) unplug it push the hose on the tip of the syringe and try to pull if clogged the syringe wont pull.

The captop are a important part of the ink/cleaning system if they dont seal up to the printhead good then the pump will not be able to pull ink through the system. That is why I asked how long ago they were replaced.
I have seen on the VP the mag captop tube get clogged here is a link to a doc that shows how the replace the captops if will give you an idea of the tubing i am talking about. That is what I would chk next.
How old is the printer?
