Have attached a sample print from my roland sp540v - prints ok for a short while (6" to 12 then sprays inks randomly across the print. I have done manual clean, cleaned the scaper behind the wipers, cleaned encoder scale and carriage cable. The wipers are fairly new. I have an sp540v located in Samoa. I know I have a problem with the black print head - have been getting around this by printing "high quality" in versaworks but today struk a problem with magenta/yellow. Test print shows solid yellow on both the magenta and yellow so changed cap tops. Now not printing either colour but prints yellow all over the print. I have a roland sp540v located in Samoa in the Pacific. Have been having a problem with printing black - see attached test print. Have cleaned thoroughly with no effect and have now just replaced the cap top - still no difference. All other colours are printing fine and my current soloution for the black is to print on the high quality setting rather than the standard in Versaworks, which doubles the time for each print. Can anyone suggest how I can fix the problem, please? Also can anyone…See More
