Hello, Admin, Irving, Kyle and Kimberly,

Thanks for your interest with the problem I was having with the lines on my larger media.  We fixed the problem by updating the firmware.

Last point - You can use the VW-job settings - mark tab - cropmarks (print/cut alignment) - to add registration marks to your file to remove and cut at a later time. - The alignment is not difficult once you get the hang of it(Reg marks over cutting strip).

I will place my money on Kimberly's accessment. First check to see if the marks line up with your pinch rollers. If so, then now you know the issue. Fix to that - longer drying time - how to do that - 1-ensure proper profile - 2- ensure printhead is running the full length of machine (not just media width), or you can add a drytime in VW - Job settings - printer tab - do a custom setting instead of media default. This would be a good time to stress to all those that have not taken Steve's course or had an installation from one of us, that on the printer tab - your selection should not be printer control - but all three boxs should be -MEDIA DEFAULT. In your situation if it does not work for you (environment, ink density, etc) then add drying time. You would need to be cafeful by just adding printer heat. Droplets need to expand and if heat is too high you will cause other issues.

Next point - on vertical lines - if not rollers and lines are vertical and usually slanting - then your decoder strip located under top cover could be dirty. You can clean that with alcohol - both sides. DO NOT USE - cleaning fluid -that will remove the coding from the strip - such a mess you will be in for.

SOME PEOPLE RECOMMEND  Sorry caps lock but recommend putting crop marks on your print. so it prints with (marks) then you wait 1 day so the ink can fully dry then have the verscamm cut the design.

Did you have your pinch rollers in that area? Were you cutting? I've had that happen from the pinch rollers when the ink hasn't dried before cutting.
