Irv - how do you cut first and then go back to print?  I have the same problem and would love to know how to correct it.  Thanks

Donna not sure if Josh is still around to answer questions on the IW forum - he moved to the mothership - but here are the answers to two of your questions one about opaque and clear on threads.
Sol-Opaque is thin and when encountered with the ecosolvent ink it becomes mushy until it dries and has a tendency to curl - worst on small letters - two ways to handle - most of us - cut first and return to origin and then print this stops the knife from cutting into mushy media and pulling it up
the other way is to print with registration marks - let it dry and then return to cut
Sol-clear on thread - is used to keep the thread clean and help it from snagging - it is a good practice for some applications and since Josh articile years agao I have been saving my off cuts just for that reason. Also those that print with white and metallic ink use it to help the inks stay on garments.
In this business you have to think outside of the box and experiment a whole lot.
