Transparency? Lens? at the bottom of the canoe?

Attach the file here (or send it to me April) and I'll be glad to take a look

Diane

can you attach the file from Corel so we can compare?? What looks different? It does look like your cut pressure was a little off :)

No I started to weed it before I noticed the problem.

April - I cannot get that to open with all of the fountain fills etc. properly. I think that may be part of the issue. Are you using Roland colors in the fountain fills? If not, then I would recommend flattening the image so there is no confusion on VC's part in uncompressing the image.

You could try a PDF X3 file format also and see if that works.

Yes I used roland colors I will try flattening it.

BINGO! - you cannot do a fade from one Roland color to another - Versaworks will get very confused and give you issues. If the color is from 100% to another percentage, you will be fine. If you flatten it, the color will not be a RVW one anymore. Give me a call if you can April so we can dig deeper and get this fixed for ya.

You are the greatest!!!!  that fixed the problem.  Don't use versa colors in fountain fills.  I have learned that lesson.  Thank you so very much I am happily printing now.

Thanks

April
