I use LBV2 and Max Impact with no issues, use all your rollers and unroll the material on the back so the machine doesn't have to pull it off the roll.

I downloaded the profiles from Arlon's website and use those.

I checked arlons profiles and they have the profiles for a sp-300 but no rip option. Would the sp profile work for the vs? I also checked versaworks and there wasnt a LBV2 and Max Impact option.

thanks

Craige you maybe able to download the sp profile, but it should not loaded up in a VS VW setup. It will not work for your machine, especially if you are using white or metallic. You should not drive yourself crazy looking for profiles, Roland always provide generic ones that are good fall backs if you cannot get a specific one. At times it requires some testing, but you can do that at very little expense. Scrim Banner is a very general banner that works great with all of the basic profiles and the LBV profile. If you are using metallic then use one with the (MT). Try Generic 3 as a start and you should see good results. Always keep your roland profiles upto date and your profile issues should be a cinch.

Very few if any manufacturers offer VS-300 profiles don't know why? but whatever,,,, the Roland ones on VersaWorks and the ones set up on this site under "downloads" are just fine for everything I've run across, if you are up to date with your updates for VW, LBV2 is in there I should have clarified in the profile you can choose under the Quality settings,"Media type" LBV2 is in the drop-down and works best for me with that material, And at the bottom of that same tab in"Color Management," Max Impact" or "Sign&Display" among others are in there, both of those dump a-lot of ink so drying time will be longer, be careful of smudging the print like don't let it just fall to the ground as it prints, but you have to experiment for what works best for you and your printing environment, only use suggestions as a guide, printing is not like 1+1=2. Hope that helps, sometimes the quick answer isn't the best response. Sorry. John Hyde

Once I updated my versaworks profiles I was able to find and use lvb2 with max impact and it worked great!

Thanks for all your help, this site is awesome!
