Universal provides a list - in the manual and on the Student CD of what you can do, what if an item is not on the list - like gatorboard or polystyrene (PS) - PVC is a no-no but those other products are fine -

List of references I have found for a bunch of items:

http://www.eurolaser.com/materials/

http://www.laseralliance.com/index.php?pg=materials

I am sure there are plenty more

I have some gator foam....... might be fun!
Steven in making your tshirts did you make a template or just line up with red dot. I recieved my shipment from laserbits and have a bunch of small tags. On the disk I gave you is a template for id cards and for dog tags. I have some plexi and will make them but I was wondering about the tshirts. That disk have so much stuff it might be on their also.
also have you figured out a pricing for doming - or suggested retail price
What T-Shirts...Any pics?
Irv,

Actually, I through a bunch of stuff in the laser just to see what will happen. There is some cool lasertile, that look real nice, but expensive. Since it cost so much I was curious to how regular tile would look. I bought a bunch of $0.35 tiles, etc at Home Depot and some look great and others didn't. I think it's just about finding some material, putting it in the laser and see what it looks like.
Joe I am for all the trial and error and have done the same with some tiles from HD -have tried them yet - I am only concern about killing myself - ie PVC.-
the Tshirts are the lil metal tags - good promo for a tshirt shop
