Hi there
Just trying to figure out how to get the ink consumption to display in versaworks, I'm up to date with it, 4.6.0 so no update issue here. I can manage to see the ink consumption once I Rip the job, I go to Menu View > JobLog and I can see all the info about all the jobs I processed, but not on the preview window ... any idea how can I fix this ?
Thanks a lot!

Hope that helps.

Permalink Reply by Carlos on June 5, 2012 at 4:38pm Thanks John, I actually know where it's supposed to be, but I cannot see it.
Now, playing around a little I can see it is down there, but my task bar (win7) is blocking the view, if I move the task bar to the side of the screen I can see the ink usage, so I'm guessing it's a screen resolution issue. Gotta tinker with that a bit to see if I can make it work
thanks again
Permalink Reply by Mike F on June 5, 2012 at 5:04pm You can set the taskbar to auto-hide, and it'll only pop up when you put your mouse on the bottom of the screen. Been doing this for years to get a bit more screen real estate.

On laptops, it's the only way to see that whole window.

Permalink Reply by John H. on June 6, 2012 at 10:24am I must be doing something wrong (right) I have no problem seeing the whole window on my desktop or my laptop? It's a three step window,1.- minimize to tray,2.square,maximize to mid screen,3. two squares stacked, maximize to full window. I can see the whole window on steps two and three. I only use the mid screen option myself, and if you can't see the ink consump, hover over the bottom of the window until the up and down arrow shows and drag the bottom down a bit and it will stay there every time you go to that window.

Permalink Reply by Carlos on June 5, 2012 at 5:13pm Thanks for the tips, I've tried different resolutions with no changes, that meaning the ink usage remains hidden.
I know the auto-hide feature is a work around this, but I hate it :D
thanks for your help
Permalink Reply by John H. on June 5, 2012 at 5:18pm Sometimes re-sizing the window works, when VW is open minimize it then maximize it that should re-set it or when it's maximized re-size it by dragging the edges in and it will stay that way
Permalink Reply by irving donaldson on June 5, 2012 at 8:45pm Ink consumption - as stated view, job log, mini window near bottom of screen, expand, and then you can double click any job to see the details of usage by color.
Permalink Reply by Butch on June 6, 2012 at 12:08pm Go to View, see if status bar is checked. Sometimes it will cover the ink consumption info on some computers.
