I have been working on a design for the front of a t-shirt. I have created a cut color contour outline of the design and have it on the top layer of the file. I have saved it properly (.eps but have tried .pdf) but when I bring it into Versaworks, it doesn't recognize the cut lines. However, if I go back into Illustrator, turn off the layer with the full image, leaving the cut line as the only thing visible and then resave it and open it in Versaworks, it sees the lines just fine and gives me the "A" I need. What is causing the cut line to not be found when I bring both files into versaworks? The design is a royal blue and bright red. Does the bright red color being so close to the cut color line color have anything to do with the reason it's not recognizing the line? Please help this is very frustrating!

I looked at your file with the way it is set up you will have 4 separate pieces.

Are you trying to make a decal that someone can peel in one piece and apply to a surface? If so then you need to create shape around the whole graphic  and apply the cut contour and or perf cut to that, it could be an oval or rectangle etc. then you can lose the grey lines.

I have attached an example I have not included a cut or perf cut line as the computer i'm using is not set up at the moment  but I will show you where it needs to be. Search the videos on this sight there is one for perfcut and cut contour that will show you how to set up and apply them

Not sure if you are aware but your graphic consists of 535 objects there seems to be multiple copies of the same thing I stopped counting at 25 of just the yellow You might want to combine or weld them all to create one copy of each curve
