Greetings to all and a special "SHOUT-OUT" to all those who attended the In-Shop Training @ SeaGlass Logowear in Clifton Park, NY, on 5/6 November. I would like to personally thank the hostess Jen Jackson, the Trainer Steve Jackson (I believe related) and sponser Imprintables Warehouse.
As always, I had the opportunity to meet some wonderful peers representing our industry and the crossroads of America. I learned so much personally about an employment opportunity in the wonderful state of Iowa. Who would have thought of me as a deputy. Well the job would surely keep me in shape, and that is no bull.
As folks make their way back to their respective states, I hope they have the opportunity to reflect on the amount of material that was transferred to them. Steve does a wonderful job of breaking it down so it can be grasp across all barriers and obstacles. As a professional trainer, I am aware of the challenges in learning exchanges, and Steve is exceptional at ensuring all is acheiving their learning requirement. He is very aware of individual saturation points and individual acceptance levels and I can assure you that all attendees left satisfied a various levels of acheivement. Since I have personally attended learning opportunities with him, I enjoy watching his transfer of information from the school house to his sessions. I can assure all that the information he provided was and is timely and more importantly - FRESH!
Steve can speak for himself but during and after each session, we compare notes and discuss what can be made better or clearer. I know in Army training environments this is a must and based on observing Steve's skills it must be a Navy thing too. The forum is a great place to discover, clarify, enhance, correct what we do to satisfy the end result our customers. Some monitor, some dive in but the bottom line is the exchange. No one has all the answers or a Silver bullet. Somehow in our exchanges a solution is developed which works best for an individual in a particular situation.
So those who have not attended sign-up. Those who are not Imprintables customers, well there is a way to correct that.
I like what I do and look forward to meeting must of you in your work environment. Jen has started a blog and has promised to post the pictures. Stay tune and go over to the blog world and share your experiences.
Thanks - I had a blast!
