I am having one heck of a time getting my versacamm sp300 to cut completely. It's a relatively new blade and I've tried tweaking every setting imaginable. In the test cut, it cuts the circle well, but leaves a small notch in the same place (top) and the square does not cut all the way through. I've ordered a new blade, but I'll take any advice I can get at this point. Thanks, John.

John,

For a period of time I was having problems cutting laminated vinyl. The corners on rectangular decals were being left uncut. I tried slowing the blade speed down from 30cm/sec to 20cm/sec. That along with a 60 degree blade seems to have taken care of the problem.

A 60 degree blade should not be the answer. If you are switching blades, then you will need to change the offset. I think the problem is in that setting. It should be at 0.250. If it is at anything other than that, your problem might be there.

Hope this helps!

It was the blade... I replaced the blade, moved everything back to 60 grams and default for everything and it is perfect now. When I compared the old blade with the new I could see it was worn away or chipped off. Thanks for your input.
