USED VersaCAMM VS-540 - White & Metallic Ink

Hi all,

Getting a technician to come out and look at our VS-540 is seemingly difficult in the area we are located.

If we cannot get support for our machine from Roland, nor the company we purchased from to get our machine serviced in a reasonable time frame (within two weeks) we will have lost yet another sale and we will be forced to close our business after 16 years and sell our VersaCAMM VS-540 along with other equipment.

It has hardly been used and is still under warranty until Nov. 2012. Well maintained (from our side of things).

Any idea what the resale value of a used VS-540 with white & metallic inks would go for?

You know Dennis it is funny that you mentioned Imprintables. I am very impressed by Imprintables!

I came across some of Imprintables blogs years ago and THEY are number one reason that I was impressed with the VersaCAMM and convinced everyone here that print/cut should be something we should add to our business.

We wanted to buy from Imprintables but we were told that in Canada we had to buy from a Canadian dealer. It took us 6 months from when we wanted a machine to actual purchase one (after attending trade shows and making numerous phone calls and emails).

We've had better service from US companies than Canadian ones. We've discovered they actually want to sell and provide great service. Often it is cheaper even with extra duty fees and taxes.
