A Digital Printing Network

Hi,

I'm trying to rip my first file for printing and I'm unable to complete the rip.  On one PC (Win7 Ent, Versaworks 4.0.whatever) I will at max progress to 30% and then crash (an dialog box pops up saying the application has encountered an error and is closing).  I have checked for updates in Versaworks, I have deleted the file from the queue and re-imported (still didn't rip), so then I deleted the file from the queue, deleted the .EPS file and re-exported from Corel.  Still have the same issue.  Started thinking maybe I didn't have enough free disk space on that computer so I installed on another laptop (Win7  Pro), and on that system I can't get past 1% on the rip, however no crash messages are thrown up.

I'm not sure where I would upload the file to on this forum in order to share the file and someone else can try ripping it (to diagnose if the problem is with the file or the client).

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

 - RA

Well look at that, after submitting the initial post you get the opportunity to upload the file. I like self-answering questions.

Ruth Ann,
The file was corrupt for some reason. I brought it into Corel and was able to export and test it in Versaworks. Try the file attached.
