Debbie, even though I think Steven came up with the best solution, in the future if you need to keep your graphic as one piece, you can do it this way:

[1] Ungroup All

[2] Marquee select each figure and combine.

[3] Shift select all 3 figures and then select the circle and TRIM.

[4] Break apart the circle and delete the pieces that run through the center of the sports figures.

[5] Select All and Weld.

For this particular graphic, I really do like Steven's suggestion.

Just thought I'd mention this alternative just in case you need to do it in the future.

It's good to have choices.
