A Digital Printing Network

Not sure if anyone else suffers or had suffered from this: I got up at Oh dark thirty - drove at 80mph for 2.5 hours - met a bunch of great people, learned - I am talking the transfer of knowledge, was fed, had training 301 - had to stay after class for this transfer, drove 3 hrs south at 80ish MPH, and still had some left to check the rest of MYVC family who could not make the sacrifice for further fellowship.  To the Boss (Jen) - Steve - my bro - and my new look see family of comrades - thanks for making it worth it.  See you home soon.

My apologies as I had to leave the party early and I am late to the after-party (this thread)...

Some of it was reinforcement of what Steve taught me during the installation but I must say that I did gain alot of information in the one day. Plus everyone seemed so helpful. I'm sure I missed out on many more insights, idea-sharing and different perspectives at Friday's dinner and all day Saturday. I'm definitely looking forward to riding back up for the July class.

Who got the printer?! :)

Hopefully I will be meeting some of you guys again either at the next class or elsewhere.

Carolyn Hughes won the cutter! What a great door prize from Imprintables. Not only does she get the new limited edition cut3000 package ($1089 value) from them http://tiny.cc/rm3eo but she gained lowest tier pricing for life! What a great company and a generous gift from them to our class and its attendees!

Looking forward to seeing you at the next class!

Steven
How did she win the prize? Was it a drawing or something?
Imprintables supplied a Cut3000 limited edition cutter package, It is bright pink and for every unit sold they will give the Susan G Kohmen breast cancer foundation $100. We pulled the name out of a hat to get a winner from the class.
Do you to know if your laser is not balanced (or not within tolerance) it will give you a door open error. Now were is that written. It took me 4 days to figure that one out - but I did not give up. Steve I remembered you putting the level on the doming tray and decided to put one on my laser bed - please do not ask me how the knowledge from one transfered to the other but that is how my brain works. Learning is learning and when you multitask enought the transfer of knowledge is unbelievable. I think I need a 24x24 laser - I also think I am nuts.
BTW - laserbits has great prices but terrible discounts for volume - chewbarka on the other hand if you are gettting a bunch - the price breaks are excellent. Also Johnson plastics looks better than Delvies Plastics for a lot of things. Thanks Joseph for mentioning the other vendors. I now need a good price for metal business cards and wood products.
If you find a supplier for the metal business cards, let me know! I have yet to find a any. Good info on the laser bed. I guess mine has been level :-)
Went through 10 places no good price yet on biz cards -
check out these clearance items from signware house - there other stuff looks the same as laserbits - http://www.signwarehouse.com/c-ClearanceSale-ENGRAVABLE-IPI.html
Joe, We had included your name also to give you a shot at it. Carolyn was so excited to win it! What a great two days! If you have a chance you should try to make it in July and get the second day in also. Incredibly learning experience!!! ~ Glad you made it home safely!
Hey Joe:

We have your materials....Mark is going to email you to see if you can set up a date to get together so he can give them to you. Mark may be going back up to the class in July as well, maybe you guys can carpool.....(not on the motorcycle)

It was great to meet you, and I look forward to being able to work with each other and help each other out, since we're neighbors......

Vickie, Adrienne....

Are you guys talking to me? I'd be so lucky to win the cutter, but I wasn't at the class. Thanks for putting my name in, if you did :-D I attended the class back in March when it was nice and cold.

As for going back to the class in July, I'd love to go, but not carpool, it's was to far.
No Joesph they were talking about Joe who went on friday.
