OMG! I WANT ONE TWO. HAY I WONDER IF THEY CAN UPGRADE MINE MACHINE TO HAVE THOSE INKS TOO!!!
sometimes waiting can pay off
Seems like my dream machine :)
How Much?
I think it lists for 26K
I have that machine. Seems there was some firmware issues right off the bat. Got ours in April and had to replace a head. Also the software keeps crashing on start-up. Other than that it does a great job on metallic print. Ours is set up for white and silver. I love the print/cut capability.
Jim, You can't imagine how many people are wishing they had your machine also! I'd love to have the silver and white capability. I hope you get the firmware issues worked out. Good luck to you and enjoy.
Vivki. The firmware issue has been resolved and it is working beautifully now. It also required a new print head because the firmaware issue casue the head to move off of the docking station during automatic maintenance intervals. Needless to say it was a mess. Several lines had to be cleared from clogging being exposed to the atmosphere for long periods of time.
I'm sure IW will be giving you one to "test out". :)
I have a VS 640 and a XC540MT in the showroom. They're amazing machines. On support is cool too. Youget email notifications when your job is done etc.... Plus the new head design and the ability to print/cut with the take up unit. Very nice!
I just purchased a new VS-540 it is an awsome machine, I had a SP 300V which I traded in for 4 years now I have this new vs-540 beast,,,,,,, wow
Tony I wish you much happiess wth your new VS. To get the most out of your machine - I recommend all VS users doing white and metallic to set up Queue A for those jobs and Queue B for the CMYK jobs. If the Queue is not set from the Edit tab prior to loading the job - you will not get all of the necessary tabs. Also check the spot color conversion box. Finaly you need to know the difference between blended, layered, and subtractive principles. Enjoy your great prints.
