Permalink Reply by irving donaldson on November 28, 2011 at 6:14pm Do a manual cleaning and at least two normal machine cleanings. Also put some cleaning solution in your captop. Once that is done post another picture. I do not think it will help but it will confirm one of two things - air in the line or your captop is failing. You also have an option to do a choke cleaning since you have a VS machine - if it is air in the lines the choke cleaning will clear it. You have drops in your magenta but only about 10 percent - but I am thinking you were not using your machine and there is some dry ink going on here.

Permalink Reply by irving donaldson on November 28, 2011 at 9:48pm Unfortunately, I recommended an option that you do not have access to. The choke cleaning is only accessed in the service mode. So another option is to use a syringe, which also you do not have. What you do have is more cleaning options so go up to a medium and see if you have any change as for the better. Let me just suggest that you did take out the cartridge and ensure you have ink in the cartridge. Move this step several posts up and list it as my first suggestion.
