can you make temporary tattoos on the versacamm? anyone know? and where to get the right media. im looking to do stuff for kids parties.

Permalink Reply by Mike F on September 4, 2012 at 11:12am Don't know of any material you can use with the Versacamm for this, and not sure you even can from a health / safety standpoint (solvent ink + skin = bad), but here are a few sites that do them:

Unless there was some verified data out there somewhere, I would stay miles away from providing children with a eco-solvent printed sticker to put on their faces
Permalink Reply by Mike F on September 4, 2012 at 5:22pm If I remember correctly, someone on here was doing stickers with Seramark to be used as "tattoos". Don't really see a problem with that if the ink is cured. I was thinking more along the lines of a traditional temporary tattoo application where the ink actually contacts the skin. Actually did a bit of googling on the subject and came across this patent:

Basically says the ink has to be skin safe, which solvent ink is not. So yea, highly doubt there's anything you could print to that's made for this purpose.
