HI

When I press solutions clear I don't always get a clean image when I pull the back off.  Its like in spots the plastic looks like it is coming off.  I am pressing as per instructions with a draw hotronixs press.  What causes this and how do I fix it?

thanks

I had factored that already into our settings and the other differences maybe in the quality of the garment. The other thing that i also probably haven't seen in the discussion is about leaving the garment on the press platen before peeling. Alot of the issues of the transfer being put on cooling pads casued the adhesive to incorrectly set which had a curling effect. To avoid this I normally let the adhesive to set naturally on the press bed platen which also reduces the sudden drop in temperature. There was also a test on putting the garment (T-shirt) through the wash which got rid of most of the pressure marks left by the carrerier film.

I am still trying to envision the pressure marks effect. Later today I will try to get duplicate the pressure marks and play around with some of the other stuff see if there is something better or more consistent. Surely media should not be bubbling and if that occurs prior to cutting the media - then it is a media issue and the material was not manufactured correctly. Dan I will try your cold peel again - I just know when it happens by accident because I got distracted - I have to reheat the garment to remove the carrier.
