Hello,

Does anyone have experience with how to get the best results with siser 3d puff using the Roland VP-540. We just received a roll and are a little confused as how to get the best resultd.

Thanks

I believe Siser manufactures the Solutions products, so check IW site.  If my memory serves me right.  I was told this at a trade show by Siser, but it could be one of the other printable products.

Lorri - Siser does not manufacture the Solutions products. You have been mis-informed.

I believe the degree of puff is determined by the amount of pressure you apply when pressing.
If I'm not mistaken, there's an explanatory PDF on Siser's site.

Thanks, I'll check the sites again, I am looking for the cutting instructions

Rick, I don't think you'll be able to find specific instructions for cutting on your VC
It's a lot like cutting Glitter Flex.
I remove the liner and cut it on my flatbed cutter. Never tried it on my VERSACAMM.

Suppose if you were going to try and cut on a VC, you'd definitely need to adjust your downforce.
Here's a pdf:

I've cut Glitter print but not Glitter Flex or Sisers 3D on my VERSACAMM using about 150 gms

CYW - thanks for the info!

Use the test cut on the Versa. Adjust accordingly. Then cut a small sample. Keep a notebook of specific settings or enter in machine. Always keep a record somewhere of materials you work with. And remember blades wear over time. The setting you use today may not work next week. "ALWAYS TEST CUT FIRST ! "

I could not have said it better Butch, A quick test cut can save you a LOT of $$$$

Thanks folks, I've watched videos last night watching it being cut on a Roland plotter. Should work with the vp 60 degree.

Just a up date on the 3D puff, it cuts great with the VC. Already sold a sweatshirt for $25.00. Nice product but need to get a lot more creative after watching some videos and what you can produce using different materials along with Puff.

Did you get it to work. We just got some and had a few demo's from the manufacture., press on and then to puff you want no pressure hoover press lightly on top of film to puff

Siser aslo makes films for Stahls, I would guess IW. They only make the film material, Stahls and other press on their own carrrier.
