It looks like a wiper error. Here is a guide to the error codes and potential fixes.
WE HAD CHANGED THE WIPERS, CLEANUP THE UNIT AND REPLACE THE WIPER MOTOR ALONG WITH THE SENSOR AND STILL GETS THE 0109
Did you eventually find a solution to this error? (I'm just recently getting the same 'Service Call' message.)
109 is the wiper error
improper seated wiper or felt
ink build up on wiper housing causing it to be sluggish and get out of sync
using an additional wiper/felt or both *** seen this too many times on service calls where users add the additional wiper thinking they are helping the head. However this prevents the proper homing of the head and could bust the wiper housing. The second slot is for machines with 2 heads.
If you get a 109 error and restart the machine and still have it, then you have physical problem.
