A Digital Printing Network

Ok, Not happy right now. Have an order of 350 decals to get out on Monday. Just printed up 50 of them and my VP-300i finished the print went to cut and did not cut. Started beeping with the scan motor error 0080? Can someone please please tell me they have a fix to this and I don't have to wait until Monday and have a rep come out at some point? I have never seen this or heard of it. The machine just says to turn it off now and everytime I turn on I only get the error. Who wants to be my savior?  LOL please any help would be great.

Thanks Matt

Got it. Looks like all I had to do was take off the right side cover and push the printhead and cutter to the right to unlock it, then hand push them all the way to the left of the carriage and back to the right and lock it up again. Turned back on the power and bingo all good. Thanks Phil at imprintables! Also thanks to all of you for the suggestions as well. This site is great. Steven, looking forward to coming up there some time this year for the class. Just to busy right now.
The non techie answer is the flexible cable running up over the railing that you put your pinch rollers on. Instructs the machine to which location it should being doing what. If out of sync the machine could possibly go where it can't or should not be. It attaches to a board that can go bad also.
Glad it all worked out - as I was trying to ascertain yesterday if the cutter and printer heads had seperated - which sometimes happens if the media curls and strikes the heads right. The good things is next time you will not be down as long. We all gain great lessons from our own experiences and those of others.
Thanks for all the help Irving!
Sounds like Phil came through in the clutch! Good to see he got you back up and running!

Oh Irv, I just had this happen to me today:  the cutter and printer heads had seperated - which sometimes happens if the media curls and strikes the heads right.  and got the service call 0110 error.  Very scared.  I resolved with reconnecting the carriage, on/off and back up and running.

Funny thing, since I never turn my machine off, I forgot I needed to turn it on on the front too.  I thought my VC was dead for a minute.

Thanks to everyone for sharing, saved me a panic'd call to Steve today.
