It's got more 'substance' to it than regular or even coated Kraft paper.

Permalink Reply by CYW on July 3, 2011 at 3:22pm Maybe it works better for me because I have that 'baby'/small laminator.
My vinyl sheet (that I rotate) before sending it through the RS is always a little wider than my roll of laminate.
Therefore I only need a piece of 'something'. Kraft paper or (preferably that white backing sheet) as a tail to get my laminated piece completely through the laminator.
Are you saying that you guys use something as a base along the whole run?
I think I'm confused.
Kraft paper crinkles on me.............the white stuff stays smooth and stable. It's very easy to pull my leader board off of, no issues with sticking at all.

As Dennis says, I just had an "AH HA moment". The white laminate backing paper is not as wide as the craft paper so if you're using it instead of the kraft paper it has to be right on/exactly lined up wiht the laminate. We've opted to donate it to a nursery school. We were able to correctly load the new roll of laminate the first time; I'm so proud ;-)
(It's ok Steve and Irv, you can laugh!)
