Permalink Reply by Sean De Gruchy on July 18, 2012 at 7:36pm Just an update : I worked it out and it is VERY easy. I couldn't find anything on line to explain it and I think my local tech didn't want to give anything away as he probably wanted the job :-) . Fair enough he needs his pound of flesh , just not from me today !
If anyone is interested enough I'll do a tutorial with pictures and an explanation. I estimate I saved about $400.00 not having to call my tech out and it really is very simple.
Cheers !

Where do you get your parts? I'm looking for a Cut Carriage Board.
The tech that stopped by think the nasty noise coming fro the primer, when it starts up, is caused from the Board being bad?
Thanks for any help you might be able to give me..

Permalink Reply by Sean De Gruchy on August 2, 2012 at 6:50pm I ordered it from my Roland dealer - about $30 odd .
Love to be able to give advice re your noise but I'm don't know enough about them I'm afraid.
I'd say though that you can swap it out yourself to save a few bucks but will have to get the tech out to dial it in to recognize the registration marks/shade of black.
Goodluck !
