For the newbies...I ran out of one color ink in my SP300V last friday, and had to cancel a print job with 2" left to go. Got new cartridge in late monday, popped it in-and ran off a test print. No problems-at all! So if anyone is worried about nozzles drying up with an empty cartridge-mine went 3 days and had no problems. Just thought I'd pass this along-I had never run out in 6 years! My version of Versaworks doesn't give me advance notice of ink levels and this was the first time I didn't have a backup. Do now...ordered 2 of everything.

Wow, not to sound dumb-but I never saw that triangle before! And it says my black is just about ready to change-now I have 2 cartridges in backstock so I won't get stuck. I'll have to blame it on Scott-he installed it and taught me how to run it in a one day marathon session. If he did tell me-I forgot all about it. 6 years and I never knew that! Thanks!
And I also learned from myversacamm a month or two ago how to 'nest' or combine different jobs to print all together and save material. Played with it a bit and it's neat!
Now, what can I learn next? Have to 'know it all' so I can train the people that might be buying my shop!
