Just checking. Is PWV (Premium Wrap Vinyl) the recommended profile for printing on Arlon DPF 6000XRP (cast wrap vinyl)?

Permalink Reply by Dennis Dunning on August 11, 2012 at 7:16am It occurred to me that some members of this might not know why a custom profile would be better. Care to elaborate a bit?.

A custom profile is created to ensure the best color reproduction on a media. It is created using a spectrophotometer and specific color charts. The whole process takes about 2 to 3 hours for a single mode in a profile and must be done for each mode.
I did one for Dennis recently and I am sure he can testify, the colors came out much better and accurate with a profile that was created for the specific media.
I am finishing up some new BN20 profiles - I have 4 done so far and they will be packaged and uploaded this weekend to the forum.
