I recently calibrated my machine. I do not believe this has anything to do with the issue I am having, but not sure. I went in my que to re-print a job that I had saved and I cannot get the job to print the same. The colors are not as clean and crisp. I did not modify any of the settings nor did I change the paper type or profile. I just pulled it up and re-printed. They look awful. I am not sure what chenged, I am at a loss. I reprinted chenging to max impact, print press and tnone look like the originals I printed two months ago. What am I missing??

Did you pull up the roland file or the eps file? That would be the only thing I can think of....Hope you had a safe trip back!
It was still in my que and I just re-printed. It didn't even rip again.
We did- It seemed like a much longer drive home. Thanks again.
Make sure your heat settings are the same as what they were. Default is to go by what the machine is set at. You could have changed this for one reason or another. There is also an option in Versaworks to use the material default settings.
Did anything else change from before on your settings? Did you still have the job in the queue or did you import the file in and set it up for print from scratch?
Nothing changed. It sounds crazy- The job was still in the que with all of the last settings. He called and ordered more. I sent it over to the printer and it isn't printing the same. I ran a normal clean on the machine and I am going to try it again. I am kind of at a loss on this one.
Just a shot in the dark here, did you maybe use a different media the second time around?
any way you can post pictures from before and now?
hey guys its been my excperinace that computers & printers have a mind of there own when I run to problems
it seems like I caused them so wtih that said heres what I do if I cant figure out whats going wrong.

1- I shut everything down, sometimes when you get an upgrade it
messes with the settings

2- since every thing is off I clean the complete printer then I restart computer & printer

3- I do a heavey head clening and change the sponge and anything that looks to be worn out

I hope this helps ive been were you are and after doing the above 9 out of 10 it works good like
Im sure your smater then me if you find a easyer way please let me know

This was my last resort and it worked. I am not sure if th eprinter sat too long without being used, But I will keep this in my memory bank for the future. We probably didn't use the printer for a week. I shut everything down, did a heavy clean it it works great now. Back to normal. Thanks for all of the help.
