printing a banner 4' tall with a 30" printer-how to print extra bleed?

I am printing a 4' x 8' banner with a 30" printer.  I was wondering is there a feature in Versaworks that I can select to give me extra bleed where the bottom of the top 30" banner will meet the top of the botom banner?  (Yeah I know this sounds confusing).  Otherwise I can divide it into 2 part and save it that way in Corel.

Thanks for any advise:)

Kim, how are you going to put the 2 pieces together and not go out of your mind keeping everything straight and aligned for 8 feet?

I never said I won't go outta my mind (LOL) I with use double sided banner tape.  I've done this before but in my artwork in Corel i have created the 'bleed", but I think I'll just do it with the clip and tile option in VW.

Thanks

gee, girl, you're a better person than me

I would honestly outsource this if you can, I'd be too afraid of it failing from being taped together like that. If you can't or don't want to outsource, the "Clip and Tile" tab under your Versaworks job settings should do the trick for you.

+1 on that outsourcing idea Mike

Both the taping together and trying to get the taping flat & straight all give me the willies

Oh sometimes I know i do things I should outsource but I don't.  In this case I am astually donating this banner (its good PR for me)
