Hi All,

I am in the process of changing out my printheads but every time I try to boot the printer (SP540V) in service mode I get a message saying "service mode protected," I know I am putting in the correct code to enter service mode but just can't get in there,

Any Suggestions?

due to our policy with Roland and the confidential nature of the service mode, we do not permit posting of instructions on how to enter service mode on this forum. 

I would recommend hiring a technician to replace the head as user end head replacements can be tricky and costly if the end user is not familiar with how to accomplish the task. 

Service mode is restricted to Roland certified technicians to prevent unknowing damage to a printer.
