Arlon 6000 series is mil spec rated for submergence and pressure washing.

I put a logo decal on the bottom of mugs that I dye sub. I use Arlon DPF 6000XRP left overs from vehicle wraps for the logos. It seems to stick quite well.

Thats the stuff!
What laminate are you guys using with the Arlon?
It really stays stuck on mugs?
Cool beans!

Diane

can it be used on plastic water bottles

Dianne - use the 3220 cast laminate with that particular vinyl.

Donna - it will work on the plastic bottles as well.
Thanks guys for great information.

yes, thanks a lot

I never even considered using vinyl for mugs or water bottles.

I wonder if using Xpel as the bottom layer would also work?

It sticks on a car for paint protection and it's able to withstand the heat of a heat press when adhering rhinestones.

I have a roll here.............think I'm going to experiment.....when I can grab a minute.

I'll let you know.

If DPF 6000XRP doesn't stick to plastic try Arlon DPF 8000. It has a higher tack adhesive, will even stick to concrete block. I use it for decals that get attached to plastic beer barrels at a local micro brewery.

DPF 8000 will stick to anything. Make sure you never want to remove it though!
how much  is the cost for the DPF 8000
Donna, I will check when I get back to the office.
