Dear all - thank you for this forum! I'm new here. I've had a hunt but can't see what I'm looking for so going to post this and hope I'm not repeating something which has been answered a lot. Apologies if I am!

I've got 400 vinyl prints to do, each with a contour cut line. I know there is a way of having the printer do these in batches, winding each batch in and cutting, then continuing with the next print and cut batch. Doing so keeps the accuracy high I guess.

However, while I know this can be done because they showed us on the training day I had, I can't for the life of me remember how to do it!

So ideally I would print 50 at a time and then wind it back in and have them cut, before proceeding with the next print of 50 ... and so on. I know I can do this manually but I would like to solve the conundrum.

Thanks in advance!

Go into settings, see where the get media weight is It will be on custom roll, Select custom cut from the roll down and give it the custom height of your file. It will separate your job into section that will print and cut each one. I use it all the time.

Dan provided you the short version and it will work if you know what you are doing. The Get Media Weight is Width! Depending on the size and detail of the decals 50 may be to many. It is 8 linear feet before accuracy starts slipping. The process you are requesting is call Print/Cut Accuracy and here is the link:;_ylu=X3oDMT...

Here is a link to a video on how to set it up on our very own forum as well :)
