I read some were that someone joined the PPAI and it didn't cost them anything.

How is that possible.

Donna, You can get a free promo number by signing up at upic.org or distributorcentral.com, I believe

The search engines aren't as sophisticated but I'm pretty sure a lot of folks use them anyway

I have a number but I've only delved into the promo world a few times

Maybe someone else can give you better information that sells a lot of this kind of stuff.

Also, a lot of promo companies are willing to deal with you without an actual # if you show them proof of your reseller's certificate and invoices to your wholesale (shirt, etc) distributors. I ordered a bunch of pens that way once.
