picture is a png file  use  esp format if  when saved said picture need to be flattened but brack ground prints white    

Flatten the entire file to get consistent results through it. You could also mask out the background around the subject in the photo to get it clear.

OK, your going to have to make the background the same color as the picture's background(easy way) or cut the woman's image out of the photo in photoshop or photo-paint whatever your using, and put her edited image on top of the larger background.(harder way). Then convert it to a bitmap or flatten it in photoshop terms. Make sure your using the same color profile for the pic and your background or the colors will be different, like RGB1998 or CMYKswop2.

Let me guess... Mike's problem is to do with layers of different background colors right?
