HI

I am trying a sample shirt for a customer. I am using solutions clear on a white 100% cotton tee.  set press as per imprintables book.  First 2 designs came off great 3rd the paper stuck.  Any advice so this doesn't happen again?  Oh using vs-300 I didn't see profiles for this so I used solutions opaque.  Is there a better profile?

There is a Solutions Clear profile.  I have had nothing but trouble using the Solutions Opaque profile.

We have also had paper stick when using Solutions Clear.  We have tried increasing temperature and pressure when pressing.  I can't tell you that either give consistently better results.  We do try to peel the paper as soon as possible after pressing.  Just curious, is your Solutions Clear new or have you had it a while?

New to me anyway just got it Monday.  I'll try that thanks.

And if your cutting it try not to cut into the backing paper, do test cuts till you just skim the surface of the backing paper, that works for me,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,sometimes

Yes definitely, a lighter cut line without cutting into the backing will help. Sometimes a higher temp & slightly (slightly) lower pressure will help. We have an air swinger which definitely provided a heavier pressure than the fusion so with solutions clear we typically only press with the fusion. With the lighter pressure I do recommend a few seconds longer on the press itself. Peel immediately - this is definitely important.... If there is paper left behind you can let the garment cool for a minute and then stretch it & it will peel the paper up for you...We have used this trick a few times too :-)
