MyVersacamm.com

A Digital Printing Network

Wow, how do I make my info private on here? when I google my own full name, Myversacamm.com is the first thing that comes up. And I don't even use my full name on my profile. Any suggestions? I don't want anyone finding things I write like that. THanks!

You're lucky, when I google my name the 8th result is my dad's mugshot lol.

Wow! Lol, but sad too...

Wendy I agree - that is why I know am careful with some of my comments for - any customer can google your pricing methodology, etch.

Is there a way to at least detach my last name from this account? I don't show it in my profile, and yet, it's right there when I google myself. Thanks

I don't know but feel the same way - it is a double edge sword

you can go into settings and remove or edit your name in there.

The large issue is - why is this place not shut down?  You ask for people to be members - and I don't mind people joining - but I do think the information here should not be open to everyone.

We discuss pricing, etc. on here - things we do not want our customers to be able to come and read.  Steve  - please figure out how to make our conversations private here for only My VersaCamm members to read.

Kelly - all the info that is contained on this site is easily found on many other sites on the internet. If you don't feel comfortable posting something, then don't

You know I have made good friends and had some rather serious conflicts with people in my 50 years voicing my opinion but, here we go again, I wasn't aware that this was public myself, although i'm sure it was in the agreement to become a member, I know that I will be more mindful of that fact in the future. What's done is done we can only learn and move forward.

Voicing an opinion in a constructive way, in person or on the internet, is good.  But, I consider anything posted anywhere on the internet discoverable.  So, I think twice before posting things that I might regret later.

That being said, I appreciate Wendy's concern about internet privacy.  However, I have little expectation of privacy when going on the interenet and I'm more concerned about how Google tracks my activity on the interenet than I am about finding my name on MyVersacamm in a Google search.

I have stalker issuesm which is why I was startled. I should have looked into the information being public right away. I just have no interest in having anyone be able to access my personal information. Although the customer side of it bothers me (them being able to see what we do etc) I don't know that they bother to dig in too much. Hopefully competetors don't look on here, too.  I do think it's wonderful to have a forum where we can discuss industry questions and ideas and I'm very grateful for it. So I just cut my last name out. I just hope it still doesn't come up on searches. Thanks

Have you been able to dodge the white pages?  When I look myself up in the white pages, the location of my house and a photo of it are displayed.
